Il progetto Sextantio Albergo Diffuso nei Sassi di Matera, patrimonio dell’umanità Unesco, viene presentato sul web attraverso una esperienza unica e coinvolgente dove 7 minuti di audio e video miscelano tra loro immagini e volti odierni con quelli del capolavoro del 1964 di Pier Paolo Pasolini “Il Vangelo secondo Matteo”, filmato negli stessi affascinanti luoghi ricchi di storia. Il sito propone inoltre le immagini fotografiche prima e dopo il restauro storico dei luoghi, avvenuto attraverso l’uso di oggetti originali e antichi materiali architettonici, e la galleria fotografica delle stanze restaurate. Il progetto generale e le fotografie sono a cura di Di Paolo Immagini. Il sito, realizzato tramite le più avanzate tecnologie video sul web, ha ottenuto numerosissime recensioni ed articoli sulle più importanti testate e webzine specializzate, incluso Communication Arts, e vinto nel 2009 il Premio Web Italia nella categoria “fotografia”.
Sextantio’s project of widespread accommodation in the area of Sassi di Matera, UNESCO world heritage, is presented on the web through a unique and fascinating experience, where 7 minutes of audio and video mix today’s pictures and faces with those filmed by Pierpaolo Pasolini in 1964 for his masterpiece The Gospel according to St. Matthew, shot in the same locations. This website also shows photos before and after the historical restoration through the use of original objects and old building materials, and a picture gallery of restored rooms. The website was made using the most advanced video technologies on the web and is receiving numerous reviews and articles published on the most important specialized magazines and webzines. Winner of PWI 2009 and Communication Arts Webpick.
