Più di 10 anni fa, nata come un festival della cultura post-digitale; un punto di incontro che ospita la creatività contemporanea attraverso un programma ricco di conferenze, workshop e performance dei più importanti artisti contemporanei. Per 3 giorni OFFF è l’evento di riferimento per il mondo intero. Un festival itinerante già ospitato a Barcellona, New York, Lisbona e Parigi, che ha coinvolto artisti del calibro di Joshua Davis, Hillman Curtis, The Mill, HelloMonday, Dvein, Digital Kitchen, Chris Milk, Rob Chiu, Julien Vallée, Paula Scher, Rick Poynor, Erik Spiekermann, tra gli altri… Il festival che ha dato vita ad una nuova generazione di artisti e sviluppatori. Ognuno di questi ha partecipato inizialmente come spettatore. Oggi, prendono posto al centro della scena.
Il fenomeno OFFF ha anche sviluppato la creazione di un network internazionale di artisti, sviluppatori, opinionisti e, persino più importante, persone che amano l’arte in ogni sua espressione: studenti, fan, professionisti e curiosi. Persone che vogliono mostrare quello che fanno, scoprire quello che altri realizzano e, soprattutto condividere le proprie personali esperienze e loro desiderio di ispirare ed essere ispirati. Più di 10 anni fa, OFFF è nato come un festival. Oggi, OFFF è un modo di comprendere l’arte. Un modo di vivere. Evoluzione e trasformazione.

More than a decade ago, it was born as a post-digital culture festival; a meeting place to host contemporary creation through an in depth programme of conferences, workshops and performances by the most relevant artists of our time. These days, OFFF keeps being a reference event throughout the world. A festival hosted in Barcelona, New York, Lisbon and Paris which has featured renowned artists such as Joshua Davis, Hillman Curtis, The Mill, HelloMonday, Dvein, Digital Kitchen, Chris Milk, Rob Chiu, Julien Vallée, Paula Scher, Rick Poynor, Erik Spiekermann, among others… The festival where a new generation of artists has originated and developed. All of them started attending OFFF as spectators. Today, they take up its main stage.
The OFFF phenomenon has also produced the creation of an extensive international network of artists, developers, theorists and even more importantly, people who love art in all its multiple expressions: students, fans, professionals and the curious. People who want to show what they do, to discover what others do and, above all to share their knowledge and their desires to inspire and to be inspired.
